Premises liability law is a broad topic, covering all sorts of ways individuals may be injured on someone else's property. And while these cases can be difficult, knowledge of the specific legal issues involved, and the applicable insurance coverage framework, can allow attorneys to obtain great results for their clients. NCAJ has taken a renewed focus on these cases with the renaming of the auto torts section to include "Auto Torts and Premises Liability."
The purpose of this CLE is to provide an overview of the law and strategies at issue in N.C. premises liability cases more generally, as well as several specific areas (including slip/trip and falls, dog bite cases, inadequate security claims, dram shop, landlord/lessee liability, and others). Attendees will leave with practical skills that will allow them to identify applicable insurance coverage and complete thorough factual investigations. The CLE also includes one hour of ethics credit.
Join us to hear about best practices and other tips from several skilled attorneys and improve your premises liability practice!
